Traditional pub in Burton Leonard near Harrogate

The Royal Oak is a 17th century pub set in the village of Burton Leonard halfway between Harrogate and Ripon. A family run public house for the past nine years, John, Julie and their daughter are well know locally for their warm welcome and friendly persona.

The Royal Oak maintains a traditional feel with an open fire, beer garden, cask ales, fine wines and locally sourced ingredients for their home cooked food. John and Julie pride themselves on the quality of the menu, using Yorkshire meat from Waterford House Farm in nearby Kirkby Malzeard and fresh fish from Hodgson on the east coast in Hartlepool.

  • Dinner – Tuesday to Saturday 6.30pm – 9.30pm

  • Main course lunches from £5.95
  • Two course midweek dinner £10.95 (served tuesday- friday)
